Whistle Blower App Launched in Nigeria

In a bid to enhance the fight against corruption in Nigeria, an agency of the Federal Government of Nigeria, the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences (“ICPC”)  launched a Whistle Blower App known as “Wahala Dey”.

Wahala Dey is slang in Nigerian parlance which literally means there is trouble.

The Chairman of ICPC, Ekpo Nta while lunching the App in Abuja (Capital of Nigeria) stated that “As we grapple with the challenges of reducing corruption in the polity, we must recognize that this criminal activity thrives on opportunity to commit the act. The App (Wahala Dey) is in-line with the commission’s drive towards harnessing technological solutions to fighting corruption in Nigeria.”

Wahala Dey can be downloaded on android, windows, and blackberry phones.
